First week!

A parte il nome alquanto banale, posso iniziare... Sono finalmente in Honduras! Sono stati giorni molto frenetici e forse è la prima volte che mi fermo a pensare un po'... Di tempo non ne ho avuto molto: giovedì incontro a Roma, venerdì 25 ore di viaggio, sabato orientations in inglese, domenica arrivo in famiglia, primi giorni di adattamento e oggi primo giorno di scuola! Direi che è stato tutto molto concentrato... Credo di essere una delle persone più felici al momento! Sono contentissima di essere qui! Il primo impatto con il paese è stato abbastanza forte dato che è totalmente diverso dalla realtà che abbiamo in italia, ma ogni giorno che passa mi piace sempre di più! Inizio a sentirmi a mio agio e a casa qui a El Progreso, piccola città nel nord del paese... Il cibo é davvero buono e la famiglia è molto carina e disponibile con me... Non so se ho già detto come é composta quindi nel caso lo ripeto... Ci sono, mamma, figlia, padre, zia, zio, due cugine e altri parenti... Qui è una grande famiglia! Vogliono davvero che io mi senta a casa con loro! Il primo giorno di scuola è stato davvero emozionante! Essendo seniors abbiamo sfilato per la città con 4 pick up e la banda per poi fare ingresso a scuola... Da queste cose si capisce il ritmo di festa dei sudamericani hahaha anche le lezioni sono andate molto bene, ho scoperto che non conoscono i nomi delle dita delle mani e che i professori sono come amici per gli studenti, cosa a cui noi italiani sono siamo abituati affatto... Purtroppo sono davvero stanca oggi, quindi concludo velocemente... Spero di potervi raccontare qualcosa di interessante settimana prossima ;)

Don't care about the stupid name, I have to begin...  I'm finally in Honduras! They have been so intensive days and I think this is the first time I stop to thinking a bit... I haven't had much time: Thursday meeting in Rome, Friday 25 hours of travel, Saturday orientation in English, Sunday meeting with the family, first days to understand where I am, and today the first day at school! It's was so full... I think I am one of the most happy people at the moment! I'm really excited to be here now! The first moment was a bit hard because here it's very different from Italy, but every day I feel more comfortable and I'm going to love El Progreso, a little city in the north of the country... Food is very good and family is really lovely with me! It's a big family because there are grandma, mum, sister, dad, aunt, uncle, two cousins and others relatives... They really want to make me feel at home with them! The first day of school was really exciting! We are seniors so we have a walk through the city with 4 pick up and orchestra and we have a triumphal entrance!  Classes was really good, classmates are so friendly and teachers are like friends for us, someone that they aren't in Italy... Unfortunately I'm so tired tonight so I close now... I hope to say you something interesting next week ;) byeee
